DSP (Direct Support Professional) 1-2 Days a week

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress.
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in community activities.
- Advocate for clients rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for individuals.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required. WE WILL TRAIN
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification required (we can help with obtaining this certification)
• Compassion, patience, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow care plans, protocols, and safety guidelines.
