Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and inspecting clothes, hanging up inspected items on designated lines based on sort.
• Assist in bagging clothes to be loaded for delivery.
• Cleaning as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Ability to operate delivery van.
• Strong skills in heavy lifting, with the capability to handle physically demanding tasks. .
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes for efficient navigation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
