Dental Assistant

Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and recordkeeping
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Skills
- Pediatrics: Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Assisting: Proficient in providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
- Infection control: Knowledge of proper infection control protocols and procedures
- Vital signs: Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- X-Ray: Proficient in taking dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Aseptic technique: Skilled in maintaining a sterile environment during dental procedures

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, performing charting and recordkeeping, providing patient education, and sterilizing instruments.

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
