Duties

• Sort incoming and outgoing inventory with precision, ensuring proper placement and organization within the warehouse
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load, unload, and move materials
• Assist with stock stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes to meet daily operational targets
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 to track inventory movements accurately
• Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock audits to maintain optimal stock levels
• Support manufacturing or construction-related materials handling when necessary
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures during heavy lifting, mechanical operations, and materials handling
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
• Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to quality standards

Requirements

• Proven warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation enhances your suitability for this role
• Strong skills in inventory management systems like AS400 or similar WMS platforms
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehousing and materials handling
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
• Experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail for inventory control tasks including stock counts and audits
• Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology efficiently
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and operational excellence

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
