Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of supply chain management, materials management, and fleet operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of freight.
  • Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Implement demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to maintain safety standards.
  • Monitor budgetary performance, including profit loss assessments, to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate materials management processes to ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation, including forklift training.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve logistics processes and enhance overall productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment using SAP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet management practices and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Familiarity with heavy construction machinery.
  • Forklift Experience
  • Ability to operate forklifts, machinery, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
