Edge Supply is looking for an indepedent, reliable, hard-working individual to join our team for the position of Full-Time Receiving and Delivery Associate. To fulfill this role, individuals need to work well both independently and as part of a team, have good customer service skills as demonstrated through face to face interactions with customers, and have knowledgable working computer skills.

ABOUT US: We are a full-line MRO distributorship with headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN. We serve property management customers as well as commercial, industrial, and government run facilities in Northeast Indiana and throughout the U.S. We provide over 75,000 parts in product categories such as, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, cabinet and countertops, and janitorial & lighting. OVERVIEW: Working as Receiving and Delivery Associate you must be able to work both indepently and with the team. Efficiency in our sometimes fast-paced environment is key. Applicant must be able to lift 25-75 lbs., tolerate standing 3-4 hours at a time, be comfortable using a computer and printer, have a clean driving record with a valid driver's license, and work independently. Outgoing personality and ability to communicate with customers during face to face interactions is required. One year experience is preferred but no experience is necessary. Individual in this role will be responsible for receiving in daily shipments, separating orders, cross checking orders with packing lists, packaging, using shipping software, and completing local deliveries. This is an entry level position and applicant will be given proper training. The ideal candidate will possess a positive confident attitude, a drive to succeed, an outgoing personality, and operate at a high energy level.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to:

o Managing inventory
o Receiving and shipping inventory
o Performing deliveries with company vehicle

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or over
o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
o Strong skills in Microsoft Excel & Word
o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to75lbs

o Ability to pass the required drug screen
