Pharmacy Technician

Join a family-owned, independent pharmacy in Jefferson County.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Prepare and package medications for distribution to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and stocking medications.
- Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to pharmacy practice.

Experience:
- WA State Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of critical care, acute care, and hospital pharmacy practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of patient service and care.
