Export Coordinator (Air & Ocean)

We're looking for an experienced Air & Ocean Export Coordinator to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, enjoys managing shipments from start to finish, and takes pride in delivering accurate and compliant global export operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage A–Z export operations for Air and Ocean shipments

(quoting, booking, documentation, compliance, tracking, billing)

• Coordinate with carriers, airlines, truckers, overseas agents, and clients
• Prepare and review export documentation including HAWB/MAWB, B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other compliance documents
• File AES and ensure all shipments meet Export Administration Regulations
• Handle Dangerous Goods (DG/IATA) shipments as needed
• Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong communication throughout the shipment lifecycle
• Update and maintain files in our TMS (Magaya) - experience in Magaya is a plus
• Track shipments proactively and escalate delays or exceptions

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of freight forwarding export experience (Air & Ocean)
• Strong understanding of A–Z export processes
• Dangerous Goods certified (IATA DG) preferred
• Knowledge of global trade lanes (Asia, Europe, LATAM) a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Domestic truck brokerage experience is a strong plus (dispatching, carrier sourcing, rating, or inland coordination)

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000, depending on experience.
