Role Overview:
The Laboratory Assistant II supports specimen processing, patient registration, and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and processing specimens
• Registering patients and entering orders
• Centrifuging, labeling, and aliquoting samples
• Maintaining supplies and equipment
• Assisting with pathology specimens and phlebotomy (with competency)
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Two (2) years of laboratory or patient care experience
  OR
• Current student pursuing a science-related degree (nursing, medical technology, pre-med, etc.)

• Knowledge of specimen collection and handling
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Phlebotomy skills preferred
