Duties

  • Assist the Preschool Director in overseeing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations
  • Support curriculum implementation and ensure teaching standards meet educational guidelines and best practices
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Lead staff meetings, provide mentorship, and support professional development initiatives to strengthen team leadership
  • Monitor classroom environments for quality assurance and implement improvements to enhance student experiences
  • Engage with families regularly to communicate student progress, address concerns, and foster community involvement

Skills

  • Strong background in education administration with experience in early childhood or preschool settings
  • Proven leadership abilities with a talent for managing teams and guiding staff through mentorship and training
  • Expertise in strategic planning and budgeting to ensure efficient resource allocation and program growth
  • Excellent management skills to coordinate daily operations smoothly while maintaining high standards of care and education
  • Familiarity with university-level teaching or experience working within higher education environments is a plus
  • Ability to develop innovative curricula aligned with educational standards that inspire young learners
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

-2 years early childhood education experience with references

-12 early childhood education credits from an accredited college (provide official transcripts)

-Pass background check (reimbursed)

-Obtain TB test prior to start date

-8 hour in person CPR training (Adult, Infant, AED)

-Supervisory experience preferred

-Spanish speaking preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
