Sunrise Country Manor is a family-owned skilled nursing facility located in a beautiful country setting just east of Milford, Nebraska. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents in a comfortable and caring environment. As a Medicare and Medicaid-certified facility with approximately 80 beds, we pride ourselves on our experienced staff and commitment to excellence in long-term care.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facility maintenance team and ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and upgrades to building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and grounds).
• Coordinate all contracted services for facilities and grounds.
• Implement and maintain the facility's Life Safety Program, ensuring compliance with NFPA Life Safety Code, CMS regulations, fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and related standards.
• Coordinate routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety equipment (fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, exits, generators, etc.).
• Handle water system operations and maintenance; oversee compliance with public water system requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, supplies, and projects to support efficient operations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
• Ensure the facility remains in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting such as a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or long-term care environment (experience strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and life safety codes.
• Grade 4 (IV) Water Operator License from the State of Nebraska (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to resident safety and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
