Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant settings. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing as needed
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Support catering events and special functions when required
• Serve dishes with professionalism and attention to detail
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Follow all food safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles, preferably in fine dining or restaurant environments
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning, food industry operations, and catering is a plus
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
• Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
• A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
