Duties

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Collect and document vital signs, patient histories, and current medications to ensure accurate medical records.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist providers during examinations, and support both simple medical procedures and aesthetic/med spa procedures.
• Product sales at front desk including supplements and skincare.
• Manage patient intake processes efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, order labs, and send referrals.
• Support clinical staff with basic physiology knowledge, ICD coding for diagnoses, and
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, updating records in EHR systems, prepping charts.
• Maintain cleanliness of clinical and staff areas and ensure all equipment are prepared for procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of prior experience as a medical assistant. Experience in hormone replacement, weight loss, and med spa preferred. Certified medical assistant strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication renewal and authorization.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
• Experience working with EHR systems and managing medical administrative support tasks efficiently.
• Experience in gynecology, med-spa, family practice, or weight loss is beneficial.
• Ability to handle multi-tasking while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
