Dedicated Long Haul Driver

Pay Rate: $0.45 per mile plus $50 per pickup or delivery, $125 per layover, plus attendance bonus 

Position Summary

Southeastern Food Merchandisers is seeking Class A CDL drivers for our dedicated long-haul route from Dothan, AL. Drivers will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity up to the maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Responsibilities include multiple pickups and trailer swaps (dropping empty trailers and hooking up loaded trailers). Product handling is not required. This position offers a flexible 6-day a week, with 10–14-hour days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
• Properly track and document activity logs.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.

• Commercial Driving: 1 year (Required)
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A).
