Implementation of Maximo CMMS for Multiple BCD Manufacturing Sites
Description:
Implement IBM Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across multiple BCD manufacturing sites to standardize asset maintenance, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven insights. The project includes configuration, testing, training, and full deployment of Maximo CMMS, integrated with existing enterprise systems (ERP, production, and facility management systems).
Role Scope & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, tracking milestones, dependencies, resources, and risks.
Manage multiple site implementations simultaneously, ensuring standardized execution across geographies.
Coordinate with site leads, functional owners, and vendors for readiness assessments, testing, and deployment.
Maintain an action log, issue tracker, and change management register throughout the lifecycle.
Governance & Reporting
Conduct weekly project meetings and steering committee sessions with leadership and stakeholders.
Prepare and present executive summaries, dashboards, and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with NTT DATA PMO standards, templates, and audit readiness documentation.
Risk, Quality & Budget Management
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Maintain oversight of scope, schedule, and budget, escalating variances promptly.
Ensure vendor deliverables meet defined quality and performance criteria.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
Lead cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Engineering, Operations) across regions.
Facilitate collaboration between CMMS technical team, infrastructure, and site maintenance teams.
Manage site readiness reviews, UAT coordination, and go-live checklists.
Documentation & Closure
Maintain comprehensive documentation:
Project Plans, RAID Logs, Change Requests
Site Readiness Reviews and Deployment Checklists
Test Summary Reports, Lessons Learned, and Closure Reports
Drive post-deployment validation and transition to operations/support teams.
Expected Deliverables
Fully developed and maintained Maximo CMMS rollout plan (multi-site).
Weekly status and risk reporting, including executive summaries.
Successful deployment and go-live of CMMS across all designated manufacturing sites.
Final Project Closure Report capturing KPIs, lessons learned, and sustainability measures.
Skills:
Project Management 5–8 years Proven ability to lead IT system implementations from initiation through closure, managing schedule, budget, and risk.
Enterprise System Deployment 3–5 years Experience in enterprise software rollouts (ERP, CMMS, MES, or similar).
CMMS (IBM Maximo preferred) 1–3 years Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably Maximo; experience coordinating technical and functional CMMS teams.
Manufacturing Environment 2–4 years Exposure to operations, maintenance, or IT systems within manufacturing or plant sites.
Agile / Hybrid Methodologies 3–5 years Experience managing Agile or hybrid projects, understanding sprint-based planning, backlog tracking, and iterative delivery.
Stakeholder Management 5+ years Skilled in engaging diverse stakeholder groups — IT, operations, leadership, and vendors — ensuring alignment and communication.
Risk & Issue Management 5+ years Skilled at identifying and mitigating delivery and operational risks; developing recovery strategies.
Documentation & Reporting 4–6 years Expertise in preparing PMO-standard documentation and project reports (RAID logs, status summaries, governance decks).
Tools & Platforms — JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, Excel, Power BI, Maximo (preferred), SAP, and SharePoint.
