Senior HVAC Technician

The Role

As a Senior HVAC Technician you will handle advanced residential and light commercial service and installs, quickly diagnosing issues and keeping systems running reliably.

You will also mentor apprentices and set the standard for quality, professionalism, and workmanship. You will:

• Lead HVAC Service & Installation - you will take lead on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair for light commercial and residential clients
• Diagnose Issues - resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Perform Preventative Maintenance - conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Mentor & Train - mentor and train apprentices, ensuring skill development and job readiness
• Lead By Example - maintain high standards of professionalism internally and externally

The Qualifications

• Active Virginia HVAC Journeyman License
• EPA Universal Certification
• 5+ Years of HVAC Experience
• Physical Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and handle the daily demands of the work

The Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – approx. 3:00 - 5:00 PM
• On-Call Schedule: every 4-5 weeks you will be on-call for 24 hours for 7 days (rarely get a call past 10pm)

The Compensation & Benefits

• On Target Earnings: $120,00 - $140,000 per year
• Base: $40 - $48/hr (structured raises based on performance rate and labor)
• Bonus: weekly and monthly bonuses tied to personal performance, along with seasonal promotions
