Preferred Profile

  • Dresses in nursing scrubs
  • Clean and Neat Appearance
  • Groomed well
  • No Piercings or Visable Tattoos
  • No heavy scents or perfumes
  • Reliable and will not call out
  • Experience with PCA Certification or CNA
  • More than 5 years of provable experience through references

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or gait belts, or other, to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
  • Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status and needs

Skills

  • Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
  • Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice, and autism care best practices
  • Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable
  • Ability to work with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support
  • Strong patient observation skills to monitor vital signs and identify changes in condition
  • Experience with medication administration, care plans, and patient monitoring systems
  • Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility devices like Hoyer lifts or resident transfers
  • Compassionate communication skills to provide empathetic support to residents and their families

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
