RN Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Unit Manager to join our growing team at

Westgate Health & Rehab

The RN/LPN Unit Manager executes the goals and objectives of the nursing department regarding patient/resident rights, patient/resident care and reflects the mission statement of the facility. Serves as a role model to nursing staff while facilitating outcomes-based care delivery, cost management, and enhanced customer satisfaction within the context of an interdisciplinary framework.

Provides leadership and direction for the nursing staff while being responsible for the overall management of the Nursing Department. Ensures nursing staff's compliance with all facility and nursing policies and procedures as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.

RN Unit Manager Qualifications:

• Must hold valid RN License in state working

• LTC Experience Preferred

• Basic computer skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting and a minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor

• CPR/BLS certified

• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers.
