Position Summary

Code 1 Wellness is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a contracted provider. This role is ideal for a clinician seeking part-time, in-person clinical work in a supportive, mission-driven environment with flexibility and the opportunity for future growth.

The contracted LCSW will provide outpatient psychotherapy services, with an emphasis on trauma-informed treatment. Experience working with PTSD, trauma populations, and veterans is strongly preferred. The position requires in-person availability at least one day per week at our Adrian location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adults, including veterans and first responders
• Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment modalities
• Provide treatment for PTSD, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring conditions
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with internal providers, case managers, and external referral partners as needed
• Adhere to all ethical, professional, and legal standards of practice
• Participate in periodic team meetings or case consultations as requested
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Missouri DMH standards, and organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with trauma and PTSD
• Ability to provide in-person services at least one day per week
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a contracted role

Preferred / Highly Desired Qualifications

• Training or certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
• Experience working with veterans, first responders, or military-connected populations
• Background in trauma-specific modalities (EMDR, CPT, PE, somatic approaches, etc.)
• Familiarity with rural or underserved populations
• Interest in long-term growth with Code 1 Wellness

Compensation & Contract Structure

• Compensation is paid per client session
• Rate is negotiable based on experience, credentials, and availability
• Contractor position (1099)
• Compensation for in-person services only
• Credentialing with insurance panels is supported and strongly encouraged, as insurance-based services are a key part of future program expansion

Contractor Requirements

• Must carry own professional liability insurance
• Maintain active licensure and required continuing education
• Responsible for own taxes and contractor obligations
• Comply with all organizational and regulatory requirements
