Internal Audit Associate II

Location: Goodlettsville, TN (Onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote)

1–2 years of audit experience required

2 years experience w/ SOX Testing and financial reporting

Experience w/ Operational Audits, Compliance and risk, Internal Controls

CIA/CPA certification is preferred or currently in progress of obtaining

What You'll Do:

• Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits across various business units.
• Support the full audit lifecycle—from planning and fieldwork to reporting and follow-up.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley control testing, process walkthroughs, store inventory observations, and distribution center audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend value-added solutions.
• Assist with special projects and follow up on management action plans.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience:
  1–2 years of financial auditing, process improvement assessments, and/or compliance projects.
• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management required; Master's degree preferred.
• Certifications:
  CIA and/or CPA preferred—or willingness to pursue certification.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Team-oriented and customer service driven.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
