Peoplease is seeking a qualified
Sales Support Specialist
to join our team. The purpose of the Sales Department is to drive sales, retain existing customers, and grow the organization. The Sales Support Specialist will provide support to the Sales Department in your assigned region and respond to customer and prospect queries. This position will interact with a diverse group of external and internal contacts at all levels within the organization.
An ideal candidate will have knowledge of sales, customer service best practices, interpreting sales metrics, and be goal oriented. You will have the ability to manage and execute the coordination of multiple projects within required timeframes and expectations; demonstrated excellence in communication skills; be able to inform both orally and in writing; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Demonstrate the ability to perform detail-oriented tasks; interact, coordinate, follow up, and effectively communicate with Sales team members, regional teams, Senior Management, and Third-Party Administrators. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.
Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to function as a
remote
employee in a distributed work team with a
Central Time Zone
work schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in driving new client growth and retaining existing customer relationships
- Monitor existing pipeline and work with Underwriting, Pricing, & Compliance to ensure prospects move through the sales process efficiently
- Assist with follow-ups, ensuring that all stakeholders involved in the sales process are aligned on next steps, deadlines, and expectations
- Assist in organizing and maintaining sales resources
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and relevant documentation in CRM systems
- Prepare sales team for prospects and partner meetings
- Support sales team by tracking, submitting, and following up on prospect requests
- Provide assistance to sales team in gathering and confirming CRM data to ensure correct and up-to-date information for each prospect
- Provide sales team with training and updates on sales processes and CRM management to ensure consistency of procedures
- Manage sales tracking tools and update stakeholders accordingly
