CNA/PCA for OVERNIGHTS

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA/PCA to provide overnight care for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, with experience in various healthcare settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, or home care. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will deliver personalized support, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for those in your care during overnight hours. Your expertise in patient care and medical procedures will contribute significantly to the quality of life for our residents.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. .
• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care by implementing appropriate behavioral health strategies.
• Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and basic life support tools to promote patient safety.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or supervising clinicians.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clients homes, acute care, ICU, or hospice settings to deliver consistent and compassionate patient service.

Experience
Candidates should demonstrate prior experience working in healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings. Familiarity with specialized care including Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care, behavioral health, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and knowledge of medical terminology are a real plus. Previous care giving experience involving medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep and transporting clients will strengthen your application. Qualifications for positions:

• Completion of a CNA, PCA, DCA, HHA program.
• Able to handle and deescalate difficult situations and behaviors
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be reliable and flexible
• Must be willing to work some weekends. (REQUIRED)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
