Job Description: Experienced Medical Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

Promotes patients' health by supporting Physician needs; providing triage and collaborating with referring physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing patient assistance; and not limited to managing day to day patient workflow.

As a Float Medical Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist, you will cross train to work front and back .

Supporting healthcare providers in delivering direct patient care and performing front-office duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Medical Assistant Duties:

• Prepare and room patients for exams, taking vital signs and patient history.
• Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Other duties as assigned

Front Desk Duties:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
• Check patients in/out, verify insurance, and collect copays.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned

• Possesses good time management skills needed to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

Education:

• Certification of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of medical office experience preferred.
• E clinical works experience as EHR highly preferred
• Freshers are welcome to apply – we value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in both front desk and clinical (back office) roles is a plus but not required
