Host/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team. In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while also providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to creating a memorable atmosphere in our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials, ensuring guests are informed about their options.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast pos.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth co.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar food service role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
