Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:

This Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for exceeding customer's communications expectations. The CSR will be communicating via email and telephone to provide ETA's, pickup and delivery updates, detention requests for delayed drivers, and entering orders into our system. This position will also be responsible for providing assistance to our systems manager, keeping internal and external computer systems up to date.

Responsibilities:
* Communicate ETA's, pickup and arrival times, and any potential timing issues with customers
* Keep internal and external operating systems up to date
* Enter orders into the transportation management operating system
* Market and upsell Niece Trucking's services to current and potential customers
* Assist payroll with potential driver hours questions
* Work with customers to provide tracking / tracing updates
* Process loads through the transportation management operating system

Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Able to multitask and prioritize duties
* Proficient typing and strong computer skills
* Self-motivated problem solver

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
* Previous transportation experience preferred

Physical Demands:
* Frequent sitting, use of computer, communications via telephone
* Regular and predictable attendance in office (8 am - 4 pm)

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
