Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients courteously, answering questions, and addressing any delivery concerns promptly
• Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing necessary documentation, and obtaining signatures when required
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation of manual transmission trucks and other equipment
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and supporting team members as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly during load & unload processes; physical stamina is essential
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling tools is a plus
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and moving goods safely within tight spaces
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures related to commercial driving, including manual transmission operation if applicable
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
