Lead Electronic Security Installer Technician-LVL 3

Position Summary
The Lead Electronic Security Installer - Level 3 will be responsible for installing appropriate devices, dismantling and reconstructing equipment as required by the commercial customer or management.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Installs appropriate devices, dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by the commercial customer or management
• Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris
• Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule
• Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor
• Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures
• Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service
• Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required
• Coordinates installations with required contacts and handles necessary records
• May work with other installers who are dedicated to a large commercial project
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills And Requirements

• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Smart-phone familiarity and technologically savvy
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
• Have a mechanical/technological/electrical aptitude
• Ability to interpret written instructions and documents such as blueprints and schematic drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service
• Valid driver's license with driving record in Good Standing
• Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability vehicle insurance to perform work in the area, as deemed appropriate by Cennox liability insurance policy, currently in place and as amended in the future.

Education

• Current certification or ability to obtain licensing, as required by state
• Some technical school training, preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• One year related alarm experience, highly preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 60 or more pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to sit and drive vehicle
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
• Vision correctable to 20/20
