Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a full time experienced and proactive commercial maintenance technician to assist with overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of our commercial properties. We own 15 light industrial commercial buildings in Boca Raton.

Responsibilities

• Hours : 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with possibility for overtime when needed)
• Be responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to the general upkeep, repair, and safety of the commercial properties we own
• The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and skilled in a variety of maintenance tasks
• Perform routine building maintenance tasks (interior and exterior)
• Electrical repairs (changing ballasts, light fixtures, outlets, etc.)
• Plumbing repairs (unclogging toilets, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures)
• HVAC system maintenance (filters, basic diagnostics, coordinating with HVAC techs)
• Painting, patching, and general wall repairs
• Minor carpentry (doors, locks, hinges, moulding)
• Maintain cleanliness of mechanical rooms and work areas
• Assist with vendor coordination and supervision
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies

Requirements

• 5+ years minimum in a property maintenance role, preferably in a commercial setting
• Must have valid drivers license, and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
