Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components. Your expertise will help optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across our operations. Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facilities infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated equipment processes efficiently.
  • Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain equipment integrity or modify existing structures.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
  • Lead or supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with team members or contractors, and ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
  • Assist with residential painting or general facility upkeep to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors.
  • Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams accurately to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and minimizing downtime through prompt repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with internal teams regarding maintenance status or safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, PLC programming, welding techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team-leading experience in maintenance roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
  • Hands-on experience in residential painting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
