Title: PACE Contracts & Credentialing Specialist
Location: Lafayette, CO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
Pay: $29.26 to $36.59 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Quality and Compliance Director, the PACE Contract/Credentialing Specialist oversees the contracting, credentialing, and ongoing management of the TRU PACE program provider network. The Contract/Credentialing Specialist also performs administrative support duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in business or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of three years' of experience in a contract management role
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with outside vendors and coordination of their activities with internal departments
- Ability to coordinate all credentialing activity between contracted vendors and internal and external credentialing review entities as needed
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with computer skill sets
- Ability to communicate and present information in a concise and positive manner in order to promote TRU PACE in a positive light
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develops contractual relationships with service providers, such as negotiating rates, drafting contract agreements, and maintaining provider network listings
- Works with TRU PACE Quality and Compliance Director to coordinate quality assessment of providers
- Serves as the credentialing coordinator for contracted providers
- Serves as the liaison between the contracted credentialing verification organization and TRU PACE
- Ensures contract compliance and credentialing compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Tracks and updates contractor files with current medical licenses, facility state licenses, registrations, DEA license and certificates of liability insurance, state surveys
- Provides updated annual training material to contracted providers
- Monitors applicable websites monthly and as needed for disciplinary summaries from the Board of Medical Examiners, as well as excluded providers from Medicare and Medicaid (OIG)
