QUALITY OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT

Help us deliver high-quality machined die cast products by ensuring parts meet customer specifications through accurate inspection and proper process control.

What You'll Do

• Operate machining equipment safely and according to specifications.
• Perform final/off-line inspections following the control plan and production schedule.
• Support containment activities (per QS3098) when non-conforming product is identified.
• Assist with training Machine Line Operators on equipment operation, documentation, inspection techniques, safety practices, and minor maintenance.
• Confirm that all SWAT charts are posted, up to date, and easy to read at assigned workstations.
• Ensure operators follow SWAT chart instructions and communicate any concerns to the Production/Shift Manager.
• Check routing tags and labels for accuracy and proper attachment to baskets/skids.
• Notify the Production/Shift Manager of any production interruptions (equipment issues, line stoppages, etc.).
• Provide break and lunch coverage for team members as needed.

What You Need

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Licenses: Gibbs-issued Powered Industrial Truck License (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience: At least six months of experience as a CNC Line/Machine Operator.
