Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing hot chocolate This role requires a passion for making hot chocolate , excellent time management skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot chocolate beverages according to company standards
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety and food handling protocols
• Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and sanitation practices
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is advantageous
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
