Dietary Aide – Stonewall Living Center

As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a warm and welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to 53 residents three times daily, year-round

- Ensure all meals meet dietary guidelines and residents' specific nutritional needs

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations

- Support the dietary team in stocking and organizing supplies and ingredients

- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents during mealtimes

- Document and report any dietary concerns or special requests from residents to the appropriate staff

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or a similar setting preferred

- Ability to follow dietary guidelines and safety procedures

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident well-being
