Valora Medical Group is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population at our new Winter Haven Creek clinic

Outpatient only (M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm)

Primary Care Physician's Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat patients' medical conditions.
  • Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret results.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
  • Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
  • Perform minor procedures.
  • Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
  • Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
  • Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
  • Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments.
  • Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.
  • Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
  • Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed.

Physician's Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine (required)
  • 3 years of residency training (required)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for this clinic location
  • Current Florida medical license and Federal DEA license (required)
  • Highly proficient in using EMR Systems, eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus
  • Fantastic counseling and listening skills
  • Superb organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent decision-making skills and communication
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease
  • Great management and leadership skills
