Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated carpenter to join our dynamic construction and restoration team at Beaver Dam Farms in Colbert, GA. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of carpentry, construction, and restoration projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through precise installation, repair, and fabrication work, making a tangible difference in our company. Duties

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, and heavy lifting tasks with precision and efficiency on various construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
• Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, siding, roofing, and drywall while ensuring proper alignment and finish quality.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying.
• Assist with water damage restoration, mold remediation, water proofing (caulking), and general renovation tasks.
• Support plumbing, electrical work, stud framing, flooring installation, and other misc. projects to meet project specifications.
• Participate in remodeling efforts including cabinetry installation and fixture hanging to upgrade existing spaces.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while performing heavy lifting or working at heights on roofing or scaffolding.
• Read schematics for electrical or plumbing systems to ensure correct installation or repairs.
• Contribute to the fabrication of custom components for restoration or manufacturing projects.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly throughout the job site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), and general construction site work.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, masonry work (including rebar installation), plastering, stucco application, and tile laying.
• Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation processes.
• Knowledge of performing roofing tasks such as shingle installation or metal roofing; experience with siding installation is a plus.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics (including schematics), cabinet installation, door hanging, drywall finishing & painting.
• Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements; physically capable of handling demanding workloads.
• Prior involvement in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to read technical schematics accurately.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project requirements.
