Are you a pet lover with a passion for customer service? If so, we'd like to hear from you We are seeking an outgoing and organized individual to be our Front Desk Representative.
As a Front Desk Representative, you're the key to unlocking the value of total pet care experience. As you help clients understand the benefits of regular pet care; convert guests into members; and maximize the positive impact of in-location services through retail sales, you're a critical part of helping pets feel their best.

What we'll accomplish together:
As a Front Desk Representative, your responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests and generally ensure that petbar is a welcoming place. These include:
- Answering phone calls and texts.
- Setting appointments, checking members and guests in and out for appointments and taking payments.
- Greeting members and guests upon arrival.
- Promoting the Bath & Brush membership program.
- Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following policies, procedures and direction.
- Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.
- Upholding the petbar brand's core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
- Staying updated on promotions.
- Recognizing and supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
- Interact with and lead bathers on daily tasks.
- Assisting self-wash guests with bathing.
- Keeping the front desk area, lobby and self-service wash area clean and sanitized and prep tubs and rooms for the next guest, as well as all common areas (lobby and employee spaces).
- Work alongside the rest of the staff to maintain the overall cleanness of petbar.
Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Must perform well in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and work well individually and in a team environment.
- Must be able to multitask and manage time with or without supervision and be organized.
- Smiling face Attitude is most important in this role.
- Passion for animals, sales and cleaning
- Confident, safe and gentle handling of dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Superior customer service skills (prompt, courteous, professional)
- Professional and neat appearance in compliance with petbar's dress code
- Must feel comfortable working in a loud environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for6-8 hour shifts as well as lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in animal care or handling.
- Availability around the holidays is required as they are our busiest times of the year.
- Must be comfortable using and learning computer software
Hours worked per week are based on business volume and demand. We are open Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM and Saturday 10AM-6PM.
