Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Utilize dental iTero technology for procedures when applicable.
Manage pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication tailored to children's needs.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health records systems such as Abeldent and Dexis.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training.
Skills
Proficiency in dental software such as Abeldent and Dexis for charting and patient management.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Familiarity with dental procedures, materials, and equipment required for comprehensive dental care.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
