Hotel Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at a prominent hotel in Key West, FL. This role is essential in ensuring smooth overnight operations, guest satisfaction, and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with hotel management systems. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly valued to serve our diverse guest base effectively. Duties

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review daily financial reports, balance accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist guests with late check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries, providing outstanding guest services and resolving issues efficiently.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including handling multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
• Maintain security protocols by monitoring guest areas and ensuring the safety of guests and staff during the night shift.
• Update reservation systems and manage guest accounts accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide support for special requests or emergencies that may arise during the overnight shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality management, front desk operations, or hotel management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and guest services within a resort or hotel setting.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse guests effectively.
• Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and hotel management software is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, typically from late evening through early morning hours.
