Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple, competing requests in a fast-paced Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
  • Manage backup, security and user help system.
  • Operating smaller budget projects.
  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  • Provide users with technical support for computer problems.

Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
  • Proven project management skills, including methodology and best practices
  • Ability to manage long-term, complex projects with resilience and stamina
  • Immediate responsiveness and proactive follow-up, essential for building strong relationships with Buyers
  • Excellent communication skills with associates at all levels, using a professional and collaborative tone
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of infrastructure and engineering concepts
  • Experience with ServiceNow PPM module (preferred; candidates with this experience will be prioritized)
  • Hands-on use of ServiceNow for full project lifecycle management, including:

  • Tasks and milestones

  • Baselined schedules
  • Risks and issues
  • Identifying critical paths
  • Adjusting work to accommodate shifting priorities
