Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves, bins, and storage areas efficiently, maintaining organized and accessible inventory.
- Use pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods safely.
- Conduct regular inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch, verifying shipment details, and updating inventory records.
- Support packaging tasks for outgoing products, ensuring items are securely prepared for delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by organizing work areas, cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with retail sales teams by stocking produce or merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments to coordinate stocking schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Support customer service efforts by assisting retail staff with product availability or inventory questions when required.
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, load handling, and general warehouse activities to prevent injuries.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing displays or stock arrangements for optimal presentation.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with pallet jacks and other manual handling tools; physical ability for heavy lifting is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control tasks.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in retail stores or grocery environments is beneficial; knowledge of produce or perishables is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy setting.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and moving items throughout shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Pay: From $13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
