Work side by side with our SLPs, OTs, and PTs to provide services in our new Jacksonville Location. We are a neurodiverse affirming private practice specializing in motor speech impairments, GLP, AAC, and feeding/swallowing therapy. *Summary*
A Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) at Lively Therapy plays a vital leadership role in delivering and overseeing high-quality pediatric speech, language, AAC, and feeding therapy using ethical, evidence-based, and family-centered evaluations and direct-treatment services. CFs welcome to appy!
*Primary Responsibilities*
* _*Evaluation & Treatment: *_Provide skilled, evidence-based evaluation and intervention for pediatric clients while ensuring all SLPA-provided services align with established treatment plans and professional standards.
* _*Collaboration & Teamwork:*_ Work closely with other therapists, administrative staff, and families to ensure coordinated, family-centered care. Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
* _*Clinic-Specific Responsibilities: *_Model professional communication and uphold Lively Therapy’s values of compassion, collaboration, and excellence. Maintain regular communication with the Clinical Director and administrative team regarding SLPA performance, scheduling, and client care. Support a positive and cohesive team culture where mentorship and professional development are encouraged.
* _*Documentation & Compliance:*_ Maintain accurate documentation of supervision activities while ensuring all evaluation, treatment, and supervision records meet payer, ASHA, Florida Board of SLP Practice, and clinic standards.
* _*Quality Assurance:*_ Promote high clinical standards by reviewing treatment outcomes, supporting continued professional learning, and encouraging adherence to ethical, evidence-based, and procedural guidelines for both SLPs, CF-SLPs, and SLPAs.
* _*Professional Standards: *_Adhere to ASHA’s Code of Ethics and the Florida Department of Health supervision requirements for SLPAs.Provide supervision that meets or exceeds ASHA’s minimum frequency and intensity standards.Ensure that all services delivered under supervision are safe, effective, and within the scope of practice for each SLPA. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with clinic policies at all times.
*Qualifications:*
* Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (or related field)
* Valid Florida SLP license & current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or starting process of CF-SLP
* Preferred 2 years experience with peds, plus if experienced with autistic children/adolescents
* Commitment to evidence-based, neurodiverse affirming (engaging/strengths based), child-centered, and family-centered service delivery
* Playful and child-friendly demeanor; ability to follow a child's lead.
* Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and communication skills
* Ability to balance direct treatment with supervision responsibilities
* Flexible, organized, positive, and committed to ongoing professional growth.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
