*Job Summary:*
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assess and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them improve their abilities to communicate and interact in their daily lives. You will provide therapy in a variety of settings, including patients’ homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes, ensuring that care is tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.
*Key Responsibilities:*
● Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify speech and language disorders.
● Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
● Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication skills, language comprehension, and swallowing function.
● Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
● Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to facilitate communication and enhance quality of life.
● Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
● Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in speech and language pathology.
*Qualifications:*
● Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply)
● Current state licensure (MN and ND) or eligibility for licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
● Experience in home health care, rehabilitation, or similar settings is a plus.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families.
● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.
