Electrical Estimator

• Prepare accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates for various projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to analyze project specifications and drawings.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
• Research and evaluate pricing of materials, labor, and subcontracting services.
• Monitor and update estimation software to reflect current market trends and price fluctuations.
• Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
• Assist in contract negotiations and adjustments based on project scope changes.

Requirements

• Certified in Electrical Estimating and Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in electrical estimation or related positions in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members and clients.
• Well skilled in all Microsoft Office products and features.
• Have own vehicle and willing to travel to various job sites.
