We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. This includes the movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that inventory is stored and organized correctly. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning before and after use.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
