Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification provided if needed).
- Maintain inventory control through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and learn new processes within the logistics field.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
