We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves and carefully packaging them for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on detail, speed, and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, using correct packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station to ensure efficiency and Safety.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures meticulously.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be willing to wear and use all mandated PPE.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to upholding Safety standards.
