Seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our bustling warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and assist with order fulfillment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote Safety.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, including Picking and Packing.
- Ensure all Lifting and material handling is done according to established guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of Safety regulations in a logistics environment.
- Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
