Job Summary:
Our Tampa, Florida facility is looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring a meticulous approach to managing stock levels, conducting audits, and reconciling discrepancies. You will play a key part in optimizing our inventory management systems and processes to support efficient warehouse functioning. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Track the movement of inventory, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory to maximize space and minimize damage.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to manage stock levels and fulfill orders efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Supply Chain or Business is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
