We're hiring an enthusiastic Picker/Packer to join our growing logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia! As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our inventory, ensuring order accuracy, and preparing them for shipment. You'll be using technology like RF scanners to streamline the process and collaborating with a dedicated team to meet daily targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order sheets and RF scanner commands.
- Verify product details and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including RF scanners, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area in accordance with company policies.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform manual lifting of products up to 50 lbs, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity goals.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock organization as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
