We are seeking an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk to join our operations in Washington, D.C. This role is fundamental to managing the inflow of goods into our facility, ensuring all shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will be responsible for verifying incoming merchandise against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and preparing items for distribution or storage. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a critical function within our Logistics department and grow your career.
Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming shipments, verifying quantities and contents against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect received goods for damage or defects, documenting any issues.
- Record received inventory accurately into the warehouse management system (WMS).
